I dislike when they chose animals that don't exist anywhere (or almost nowhere) in captivity when there is a similar species that is fairly common in real zoos. ie mountain gorilla instead of western gorilla, emperor penguin instead of king, and Javan rhinoceros instead of Sumatran or Indian rhinoceros.
Thats the one thing that bugs me most about Marina Mania. Since when has there been a Short-finned pilot whale, False Killer Whale, or even a goblin shark in captivity. I know there was a Great White in captivity, but not for long.

Honestly, why a mountain gorilla? Virtually every zoo that has gorillas has Western lowland gorillas. I really don't get the logic behind some of their choices.
Also, additional exchanges. Greater Flamingo: Chilean Flamingo Great White Shark: Sandtiger Shark Maisi (spelled correctly?) Giraffe: We did not need another giraffe subspecies. Absolute waste of animal slot. African Buffalo: Anyone see an African Buffalo in a zoo?

I hate when the animals can't reach something when they could, AND they are useing it.Another thing is when they run for no reason. That is just annoying.

Agh, I hate that too. Besides the Masai giraffe, I never seen ny of these in a zoo. [/URL

I also hate it when animals run/swim into walls. They do that all the time, even if there is lots of space. I wish they were programmed not to run into objects. This also makes them prone to running into ditches.

African buffalo are commonly kept in zoos, as are greater flamingos. Sea World of Florida keeps false killer whales, and Sea World San Diego keeps short-finned pilot whales...

Where are African Buffalos kept? I have never seen any of those animals in captivity (and yes, I have been to Seaword Orlando). Plus, African Buffalos are among Africas most dangerous animals. So I can't see how they are common. Also, I see more zoos with Chilean Flamingos than Greater Flamingos.
I am not in total disagreement with you, I just haven't seen said animals in zoos.
Back on topic: They really should have tested the game more before they released it.

African buffalos come in two subspecies, Cape and forest. There are a number of US facilities that keep the Cape subspecies: San Diego Wild Animal Park, Denver Zoo and Jacksonville to name three. The forest subspecies is kept at the Brookfield Zoo in Chicago. Sea World Orlando has false killer whales in its dolphin show, though I believe they call them "Pseudorcas"
There is a lot they could have researched better, but overall Blue Fang did a really good job.
