African buffalos come in two subspecies, Cape and forest. There are a number of US facilities that keep the Cape subspecies: San Diego Wild Animal Park, Denver Zoo and Jacksonville to name three. The forest subspecies is kept at the Brookfield Zoo in Chicago. Sea World Orlando has false killer whales in its dolphin show, though I believe they call them "Pseudorcas"
I never realized that. And I did not see False Killer Whales at Seaworld (must have been recent, as I went there in 2006).

There is a lot they could have researched better, but overall Blue Fang did a really good job.
I am not saying they didn't do research. I think they did good in that area. But, many models and skins are unrealistic.
Still, more testing was needed. This game is filled with annoying bugs that deter gameplay (or else this topic wouldn't exist).

People running around yelling the animals are chasing them when nothing is loose. Also falling off the bridges in to the exhibits, haven't mastered that one yet.

This is my biggest pet peeve too. Luckily it only seems to happen when an animal is in a low, user-made fence. At least, that accounts for 90% of the incidents I have with this problem. If it starts happening too often, I just swap out the fence for a higher and people seem to calm down for good.

I think the most annoying part is the realism factor. There are a lot of hacks out there that change stuff, and I believe someone is remaking the animals, but something has always seemed drastically off about the game. Oh well, I still love it.

Yeah zookeepers are definitely annoying like you said but also because you pay so much for them to just sit around sometimes. Also Trainers are so annoying because it takes months for them to train an animal in something it takes you less than a day. Then your animal can't do anything for that whole month. I also hate how you don't get money for adopting something out. Usually you would in real life but you don't and that kind of makes that whole option pointless since you don't get a boost for doing it like with release to wild. Maybe they do that so you will release to wild but I don't know.
