I find it a great option in the game. I find it very nice that you yourself can go and research yourself identify animals and animals raised to stun. If you have found a fossil is the best. I like assembling the fossils rather than finding them ingame. The finding part annoys me because it takes too long, but the assebling part is the funnest because it really challenges you to think and it's a great activity for passtime.

I love extincted animals and dinosaurs and i always have them in my zoo, but i used the fossil finder i think about 1 time. and that was for the campaign.

I like to assemble the fossils, but I dislike looking for them
That's why I dl'ed the hack that lets you find all the pieces at once. My favorite part is the assembly, but I also like the part where you constantly hae to press buttons on your keyboard, but that gets annoying sometimes.
