Do you name the animals in your zoos? I do sometimes, usually in Challenge or Freeform games since I tend to play them for many game years and I get attached to my critters. I don't often name them in Campaign games though, since those games can tend to be shorter.

I do name mine, like you, in Challenge and Freeform (although I really don't play challenge much anymore). I put quite a lot of thought into my names too. I'm a bit obsessive, I suppose.

When I do name mine, I put a lot of thought into it too! I often research where an animal is from, and then give it a name that would be appropriate for its area of the world. But sometimes I name them based on appearance, especially if I get an animal that has a cool variant skin.
Sometimes in Campaign games I attach a code letter to its name to show that it will be released to the wild or belongs to a certain generation, etc., for strategic purposes.

it depens what i'm naming, if it's a dolphin or orca, yes i'll name it, but i don't think someones gonna name a herd of zebra. because you'll name something if it's major in your zoo, but if it's not i don't tend to name it. Sup!
