thanks tigerman, I still have a lot more work to do for this exhibit.
and jarni is correct. The rocks are from the Montane Forest Biome created by Penguinman and ShenTirag. And the anywhere hack allows me to place the stones on top of each other.

okay, I usually save these kind of pictures for the end, after I have shown all the design, construction and landscaping. But while work continues in other areas, here are some pictures of our beautiful Bengals checking out their new habitat.
taken through the large viewing windows just off the left side of Tiger Plaza (more to come about that later)
and a few photos taken in the exhibit
I think they all seem quite comfortable in their exhibit.

Added (16 Dec 2009, 05:07) --------------------------------------------- So this exhibit is called Realm of the Tiger. There are actually two large outdoor habitats for tigers. The "Tiger Plaza" connects these two habitats and is also the entrance to the "Tigers Den" Behind the Tigers Den is the bedroom and off exhibit areas.
The plaza area looks like this
and the entrance to the Tigers Den
The Tigers Den is a cave like structure that lets guests enter deeper into the tiger habitats and view the tigers through large viewing windows.
Added (16 Dec 2009, 05:13) --------------------------------------------- Inside the Tigers Den
There are also educational displays
One of our Sumatran Tigers comes up to the window to check out what's going on inside
There are also large viewing windows on the left and right hand sides of the Tiger Plaza
Here you can see those windows in a picture taken from inside the Sumatran Tiger habitat
Vines hang down in front of the windows to give guests the sense that they are looking through the foliage to find the tigers

Added (19 Dec 2009, 04:34) --------------------------------------------- you can not see them very well, but here a mother tiger shows her new cubs around the exhibit. This pic helps to show the size of the exhibit. The tigers have plenty of room to roam
meanwhile, next to the new tiger habitats is another undeveloped piece of land in the zoo. Contruction has begun on something new ......
