you are right tigerman, no need to keep this a secret, especially because it really is no big deal. This is going to be for okapis and bongos. The enclosures behind the building are designed to give the okapis plenty of privacy for breeding. You know how these ZT2 okapis are pretty shy. I might also include some red river hogs in with the bongos.

I am going to design and landscape the public viewing areas first, just because I like to get those out of the way, and then I will finish the actual exhibits.

Wow, dude (or dudette?) you are awesome! I can't believe the level of detail to each exhibit! You have now given me some ideas for my next zoo.

Also, I would recommend snowleo's equipment pack found here: http://snowleos-zoo-equipment.de/buildingset001b.htm . It includes three gates that work just like tank walls and it allows animals to cross between exhibits when opened.

Also, where did you get the tiger reskin?

@ mstickmanp, It is not a re-skin.
It is a sumatran tiger that can be found on zootycoon.nl.

Ontopc:I like your way of building.
All my buildings turn out realy bad. :(

Ik ben er weer... Kijken hoe lang het duurt

thanks mstickmanp and jarni. I am glad you like my style of building. I am really enjoying building zoo exhibits lately, and that is mostly because of all the great user made content that is really helping build realistic zoo exhibits. All the stuff made by sophie is fantastic. I have downloaded Snowleo's equipment pack and can't wait to start using his stuff. Snowleo really is a master designer.

The tiger reskin on the Bengal was made by Koala Kommader and was available on Zoomania. I'll check and see if it is still around.

And jarni is right, I am pretty sure the Sumatran came from zootycoon.nl, or it may have come from Emmas Zoowelt. In any case, I think it was made by Silesian Tomcat.

The holidays are slowing down my Zoo Tycoon building and designing, but I hope to have more pictures soon!

And I am 100% dude. :)

I noticed that in the second photo of your first post in this page that there are smaller versions of the huge rocks. How did you resize the huge rocks? I also noticed that you included them in your okapi/bongo exhibit on the outside.

mstickmanp, I just made a copy of the original rock z2f, and then went into the main xml file and just adjusted the size. I have done this for other rocks and objects.

A couple more pics. Landscaping continues.

You're still a very good builder of exhibits :p
Your buildings are amazing!! How long does it take for building such a building?
And doesn't live the okapi and the bongo on tropical rainforest? This looks like normal grasland.

I can't wait for your next update ;)

Hi terdo, yes that is grassland. I am putting tropical rainforest biome towards the back of the exhibit so the animals have the right biome, but grassland towards the front because I like the lighter green color and I think the animals show up better against the lighter green. And the animals won't mind the grassland so much.

It takes me a little while to design and build an exhibit. I keep changing things. Sometimes I sketch things out on paper first, then build them in game. This exhibit is taking longer than it should because I am busy with the holidays. But hopefully after Christmas I will be able to finish it up. I already have ideas for what I want to work on next.

Thanks Tigerman, I am happy that you like my work !!

Thanks dinojos. I'll have an update coming soon.

Also, in the "entire complex" picture, there is a smaller building in the upper left corner. That is for the red river hogs
